Forget about the RUclipsrs. Rather talk about the tax burden increasing every time on salaried people. The govt is idiot as it is not doing anything about bringing the business people into tax net. I know 10s of businessmen who are earning even more than 25 lacs and simply getting away from paying taxes or paying very less tax. Yet other segment wgich is hugely avoiding taxes are agriculturists. They are earning in crores and not paying taxes. Hence the entire burden is coming on to the salaried middle class. I am damn angry on the the govt about it.

Sir, with due respect. There are no actual reforms happening. increase taxes so to reduce expenditure to arrest inflation... that too essential articles like medicine education etc?. what about the taxation of the rich people. why dont they tax for the stocks they hold. thats a nice way to hold money and not pay tax, then they can also take out loan on them? why should the middle class take the burden?. if its about a socialist economy, then tell me sir, what benifit do the middle class tax payers get. Pathetic govt hospital, govt school is in a pathetic state, there is no unemployment benefit, even pay house/property tax for no reason. Yours was a political statement, with no actual reforms.

If it is 20L to 20CR in 20 yrs you will pay a tax of 3.87CR with indexation and with 12.5% you pay 2.47CR

Thanks sir but below 2 points bother me Sir indexation removal will lead to Black money as people will sell at the circle rate on papers and settle the difference between the market rate and circle rate in cash Also the fiscal deficit can be financed by increasing corporate taxes. Ironically they abolished wealth tax but managing the fiscal deficit by increasing tax on retailers.

Everything is right.. but the problem is too much corruption.. and waste of taxpayers' money. This is the problem. Proper regulations and auditing should be there.

With all due respect sir, i wish the investment in indian infrastructure pays off in the form of durable and safe buildings and public spaces unlike what we have seen in the past year or so and the accidents and lives lost due to crumbling buildings airports etc.
